But based upon your question, it sounds like you may have inadvertently created a duplicate account. This happens quite often—many times a day, I’m sure. My bigger concern is exactly what happens with the Never underestimate a woman who reads many books and was born in may shirt and I love this Olympics. The NHL now has an extremely short window of time in which it has to make a go/no-go decision (doing it any later will incur penalties).Already a number of players have expressed grave concerns about going to Beijing, potentially being exposed and then having to sit out for five weeks. Even though plenty of guys want to win a medal, a lot are really leery of losing a big chunk of their season as a result. Someone like Connor McDavid is in an extremely difficult position: he lost his chance to win a medal in Pyeongchang four years ago when the NHL refused to participate. He would love to play for his country (and potentially emulate Sid Crosby’s heroics) but the risk to his NHL season is very high. Even if the NHL does end up letting its players go, I think you’ll see a lot of key guys beg off.
I said it at the Never underestimate a woman who reads many books and was born in may shirt and I love this time and I’ll say it again: it was extremely short-sighted and irresponsible of the NHL not to let its players participate in Pyeongchang. If McDavid and others had been able to do so, the choice to opt out of Beijing due to COVID would be much less gut-wrenching. It’s really only a few days, so I’m not convinced it will make any difference. Hope all the players, coaches, and other personnel all get healthy, have a good Christmas, and can come back ready to play. Hockey is the only sport I could tolerate to just watch but I’d rather play hockey than sit and watch it on TV. So I just watch the highlights most of the time. I am too busy to spend hours in front of the TV. Yes. Millions of Canadian hockey fans and the Americans wise enough to know a great sport when they see one. Hockey fans really don’t care if nonfans are aware of the start of NHL hockey.
